Judy Bensinger Haynes M.Ed, M.A., LMFT #114669

Life can be challenging. There are many times in our lives when we seek someone to talk to.  For the past forty years I have been fortunate to serve families', couples and individuals who have experienced loss, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress and moments of change that have impacted their lives.  My approach  is optimistic,  eclectic and respectful,  My theoretical perspective is a combination of humanistic, psychodynamic, existential and solution focused practices. Individuals, couples, families and children are those I have served.

I have been fortunate to work in partnership with the  clients I have served. These are challenging times, my wish is to work together, to provide a safe and collaborative setting for you and your loved ones.  I look forward to talking together.

My first Master’s degree, cum laude, was earned  from The Erikson Institute, Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois. My degree focused on Human Development, Family Systems, Diversity, Child and Infant Mental Health and Advocacy to family needs.  My clinical training was at Children's Hospital, Lincoln Park (Chicago), Illinois.  While living in the Chicago area I was employed by The Virginia Frank Child Development Center, and  The Evanston Mental Health Association.

My second Master’s degree, cum laude,  was acquired at St. Mary’ College of California specializing in Marriage & Family therapy with a focus on individuals, adoption, couples, neurodiverse development, autism, grief, trauma, and aging.  My professional experiences range from The San Leandro Pregnant Teen, Teen Parent Program,  The Early Childhood Mental Health Program, supporting children and families, Day care programs and home visits.
